A Elemental Origin implies that the trait is tied to a specific element that the character should be associated with. While Europeans typically have just four elements (Water, Earth, Fire, Air), asian myth can have eight or more elements (such as Wood, Lightning, Swamp, Mountain, etc). Much like Magic and Psionics a common related option is a chi cost to use. Elemental is also a common dual Origin for Spirit, Psionic, Magic, Divine, and Supernatural Origins. Dual Origins simply mean that any campaign conditions for either origin apply to the traits using them.
